Accessibility Statement
Last updated: February 12, 2026
Kwajelyn Outdoor Living wants every homeowner to be able to use this website, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard only, magnification, or reduced motion enabled.
1. Standard we aim for
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We are not claiming perfection; we are claiming that we test and fix.
2. What we have implemented
- Semantic HTML landmarks, one H1 per page and a logical heading order
- A visible "skip to main content" link as the first focusable element
- Keyboard access for every interactive element, including the menu, filters and FAQ accordions
- Visible focus outlines that are never removed
- Text and background combinations tested for a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and empty alt on decoration
- Form labels bound to inputs, with errors described in text rather than color alone
- Full support for the prefers-reduced-motion setting, which disables animations
- Layout that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
3. Known limitations
The embedded map is supplied by a third party and may not be fully navigable by keyboard. Our full service area is written out in text next to it, and you can always call for directions or coverage questions.
4. Alternative ways to reach us
If any part of this site prevents you from getting the information you need, call 214-518-4143 during business hours or email webmaster@kwajelyn.com. We will provide the same information by phone, by email, or in a large-print printed document if you prefer.
5. Feedback and response time
Send accessibility feedback to webmaster@kwajelyn.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. We acknowledge within two business days and aim to resolve confirmed issues within 30 days. Please include the page address and a short description of what happened.
6. Assessment
This site is reviewed by our team using keyboard-only navigation, browser accessibility inspectors and automated contrast checks. The most recent review was completed in February 2026.
